    1. This view is just in back of my apartment on the way into town. It takes my breath away on days like this.

  2. I'm holding my breath: blooms are too early here too, and I'm afraid winter is lurking around the corners, ready to jump in and blow those blooms away.

    1. Spring usually starts about now so here's hoping that even after the unusual cold and snow of February this year this loveliness will continue...

  3. You've timed your homecoming perfectly! We may have blossom by the end of March this year and if not I think by Easter. I don't know quite why, but this year I feel more impatient than ever for Spring...

    1. It was good timing and my neighbors groan when recounting the record breaking cold/snow snap. I too love Spring.

  4. Lovely. I can smell the sweet, crisp air. (Or something like it.)

    1. The air is a wonderful combination of clear morning coolness with hints of fire places and fresh blooms. Intoxicating.

  6. What a gorgeous picture! It's an interesting time of year, isn't it? With lingering traces of winter and the first buds of spring. Here in Arizona, we're expecting our first day in the 80's for some months and having color explosions of flowering plants -- while still shivering through crisp nights.

    1. We're not that warm in the day- more like 60's- but crisp nights as well. Enjoy the riot of color.
