The Sistine Chapel

My favorite place in my recent week in Rome: (click on the [teeny!] link at the end of this post)

Beautiful!

This virtual tour of the Sistine Chapel is incredible. Apparently
done by Villanova at the request of the Vatican, but I thought you
would enjoy the quality and a bit of Rome on your computer.

TO VIEW EVERY PART OF THE MICHAELANGELO'S MASTERPIECE JUST CLICK AND DRAG YOUR ARROW IN THE DIRECTION YOU WISH TO SEE.

In the lower left, click on the plus (+) to move closer, on the minus (-)
to move away.  Choir is thrown in for free.  Hold down the left clicker on your mouse or use yor computer's arrow buttons to rotate the picture.

AMAZING. MOVE THE ARROW AND YOU WILL SEE EVERY PART OF THE CHAPEL, INCLUDING THE CEILING.

  4. Oh, what a stunning header photo! Oh, how I would love a view like that!!! So gorgeous. So are you!

I found you at Rosaria's just now. I'm a grandmother also. I have four children and seven grandchildren. I have one disabled daughter I take care of 24/7. I also have a memoir about to be published by a traditional publisher. It's been a difficult/good/interesting life. I can't complaain.

So glad I found you. I'm now a follower.

  6. I saw the Sistine Chapel last November. It was very, very crowded, with ushers shouting, "Silence."

This virtual view is much easier on the ears.

  11. DJan, Did you see the tiny link at the end? Sorry, I didn't know how to change this format which is a little wonky.
Nan, Glad you liked. Come see it!
Nancy, It's a worthy goal for your bucket list. It will amaze you.
Ann, The header photo is one of the views from my balcony that I love. Welcome and thanks for visiting and for your kind words. Good luck with your book! My niece was in an accident, had a closed head injury, is wheelchair bound and has speech that's difficult to understand. She's fought a mighty battle, regained many abilities and I love her dearly. My sister-in-law takes care of her, together with caregivers, so I understand, bless and admire you.
Linda, You can take your time with this. In peace.
Nanny, Hope it brought back good memories.
    Pat, I so agree.
    Rosaria, So true.
Patti, Good word. I was stunned when I walked in. I stayed a long time.
